With our first Annual General Meeting (AGM) approaching on July 26 we have 4 positions which need to filled on the Committee in accordance with our Party Constitution, and are notifying members of this fact in order to give all members ample notice that we will be calling for nominations to fill the empty seats left by committee members standing down at this time.

The vacant positions are as follows:

• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Ordinary Officer (fund raiser/signups)
• Ordinary Officer (Committee member)

NOMINEES for the committee who will be decided on the night are:

Ian Walsh

Members will shortly receive a newsletter with some articles along with more information about the AGM and membership renewal application form.  Yes, it is that time already.

The order of business for the AGM will be:

To receive votes for those so nominated to stand on the committee

To ratify amendments made to the Party Constitution (A copy of which will be made available shortly on the Party website for download so members can read it and give a "Yay" or "Nay" to the proposed changes)

To discuss any other general business issues raised from the floor

Thde appointment of auditors (if required)

We encourage all members to attend this meeting as it will involve a vote.  Memberships cards will be required to lodge a valid vote.  Any who choose to vote by proxy would need to put that request in writing to the Party Secretary before the day.

The meeting will commence at 7:30pm at St. Lukes in Whitmore Square, Adelaide.
